Once a flourishing global exchange center point, the archeological site of Hegra (otherwise called Mada’in Saleh) has been left essentially undisturbed for just about 2,000 years. Yet, presently unexpectedly, Saudi Arabia has opened the site to travelers. Adroit guests will see that the stone cut developments at Hegra appear to be like its more popular sister site of Petra, two or three hundred miles toward the north in Jordan. Hegra was the second city of the Nabataean realm, however, Hegra does substantially more than essentially assume a supporting role to Petra: it could hold the way to opening the privileged insights of a nearly failed to remember old development.
